What makes our cut comb honey special?
Unlike extracted honey, cut comb honey remains inside the original wax comb built by the bees.
Throughout the season our bees collect nectar from blossoms, hedgerows, wildflowers and farmland across Lincolnshire before transforming it into honey inside the hive.
Once the honey has fully ripened, the bees seal each cell with a delicate layer of natural beeswax. These capped sections are carefully harvested and packed just as nature intended.

Can you eat the beeswax?
Yes. The natural beeswax comb is completely edible, although many people simply chew it before discarding the remaining wax.
Is cut comb honey raw?
Our cut comb honey is harvested directly from the hive with minimal handling and is never heat treated.
Why is it only available sometimes?
Honeycomb can only be harvested when the bees produce surplus comb and fully cap it with beeswax, making it a naturally seasonal product.
