Chunk Honey – Raw British Honey & Natural Honeycomb from Louth, Lincolnshire
Smooth. Golden. Naturally special.
Enjoy our beautiful Lincolnshire runny honey with a piece of natural honeycomb nestled inside the jar — bringing together two of the wonderful things our bees have produced for us this season.
This year's harvest gave us an abundance of lovely cut comb, and at one of our apiary sites we also found some particularly clear, beautiful runny honey. Rather than choosing between the two, we decided to bring them together to create a small batch of Chunk Honey.
Made with honey and honeycomb from our own family-run hives in the Lincolnshire countryside around Louth, this is a simple way to enjoy honey in a form that takes you right back to the hive.
Why you’ll love it
- Natural honeycomb – a piece of real honeycomb in every jar
- Smooth runny honey – clear, golden and naturally sweet
- From our own bees – produced from our Lincolnshire apiaries
- 100% pure honey – nothing added
- Small seasonal batch – around 100 jars available
What makes this honey special?
Chunk honey brings together natural honeycomb and runny honey in one jar. The honeycomb is cut from the comb produced and filled by our bees, then surrounded by our beautiful runny honey.
The result:
- A piece of natural honeycomb to enjoy alongside the honey
- Smooth, flowing Lincolnshire honey surrounding the comb
- A combination of textures and flavours in every spoonful
- A seasonal product made from what our bees have given us this year
What is chunk honey?
Chunk honey is simply a piece of natural honeycomb suspended in liquid honey. It allows you to enjoy the honey in its liquid form while also experiencing the texture and character of the honeycomb itself.
The honeycomb can be eaten along with the honey, making this a lovely way to enjoy honey just as it comes from the hive.
